Raised and still residing in Chester, NJ, Joan has been capturing the beauty of nature on film for over 35 years. She is a self-taught nature and landscape photographer and has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada to add to her collection of photographs. Her love and respect of nature and wildlife truly shows in her art, and one of the most important aspects to her photography is to be able to capture that little something extra in her photographs.

"My goal is to capture the scene to the closest, true representation of what I actually experienced so that I might be able to share that beauty with others. With everyone having such busy lives, I feel this is one way to "freeze" the beauty so that others may also enjoy the gifts that nature provides us."
