Eva Mautner is a painter, illustrator and children's book author. "My love for color and my insatiable desire to create is what drives me." Eva was born into a family of artists, musicians and writers which made it impossible for her to escape her calling as an artist. Her love for the arts began at an early age and she produced her first drawings when she was nineteen years old. They launched her into a freelance job as staff cartoonist for an international publication in the World Division of the Bank of America. She has illustrated books for Random House, Simon & Schuster, Paramount Publishing and has done artwork for Belvedere Winery, Healdsburg, CA. including a wine label for their "Discovery" series, and several lines of greeting cards for Portal Publications, Novato, CA. Her art is featured in Michelle Lovric's (of "Love Letters") "Woman to Woman" and continues to be shown in galleries and stores throughout the United States. Eva feels deeply fulfilled that she is able to bring warmth and color into the world of others.
