
Award winning, Internationally known Maine author, teacher and artist Philys Jellison learned much of her craft from her Pennsylvania Dutch relatives. An art major and graduate of Southern Seminary and Junior College, Sacramento State and The University of New Hampshire she has enjoyed a successful carear as a teacher for the New Hampshire Art Assosiation, The University of New Hampshire and The Oyster River Elementary School in Durham New Hampshire as well as an author and freelance artist who has given lectures all over the world. Her popular works have been exhibited not only through out the U.S. but in Malta and South Africa.A winner at The National Assosiation of Miniature Enthusiasts convention and The Durham Art Association shows you can learn more about her and her work in books such as The Colonial Dollhouse and The Remember When Dollhouse. Phyllis now spends half her year painting in Maine and the rest of the year in Florida.
